Happy Birthday!

My son, Richard, celebrated his birthday today. Since it was the day after the Labor Day Holiday weekend, we were all back to the standard daily grind: work, school. Richard didn't dress up today as fancy as the picture above (but I had to share it) but we did celebrate.

Sr. Pat, Lynn, Richard, and me shared dinner at one of our favorite special restaurants, Plan B Burger Bar. Plan B is one of those "special" burger joints that is beyond fast food, way beyond. They claim to use fresh ground beef (never frozen) that is "verified humane": no antibiotics, no hormones, no fillers, no added colors, no chemicals, etc. I assure you that you can taste the difference. Sr. Pat told me it was probably the best burger she ever had. I also had a burger, it was the special of the day, something with apple. Delicious. Lynn had a salad. And Richard enjoyed a juicy pink steak!
