Great Results!

Today I received the "Student Report Card" for my son, Richard, for the first semester of his junior year in high school. I am quite pleased to report that he achieved "Maximum Honors" and a 3.600 GPA for the 2nd Quarter. His cumulative GPA is ~3.0.

What is extra special for me is his success with his semester exams. In the past, he has struggled during exams (but done well on tests). This time his performance was significantly better than last year. (I feel like I am doing a financial report on a company or stock).

Here is a summary:
  • Contemporary Issues: B+ ("Citizenship - Above Average").
  • Environmental Science-w/Lab: B-
  • Algebra II: A ("A pleasure to have in class. Active class participant.")
  • Issue-Centered English: A-
  • Physical Education: A
  • Stagecraft/Technical Theater: A+
Way to go Richard!

This semester his science class is Marine Science; replaced Contemporary Issues with a Government class.
